Happy trees

Ok so I got 2 pages finished. I am super happy with them. The are my effer dare and one inspired by a pic on here. I will post them this afternoon. I have some more started, and I get to scrap more tonight. Oh Yeah! I love scrappin. Don't you! Right now I'm tryin to decide what color of paint to buy for the scrap room. I am goin to do it one of the colors of my cardstock. Thought it was fitting. I am thinking a light aqua blue with yellow or mango colored accents. Doesn't that sound yummy. Our house Is all brown and blue, and I'm feeling the need to make it more light and fresh. So muted pastels are just what I'm looking for. Ok so lets see if I can find some more inspiration. Humm.

JANUARY
1. Did you have a new year's resolution this year?Nope - I usually don't make them, hate being mad at myself when I don't keep them

3. Did it snow where you live?No, but we were still excited from it snowing on X-mas eve, cause it never sonws in Houston - hello it was like 75 today
4. Have you ever been to Times Square to watch the ball drop? No, I am a crowd hater - so even if I could I would probably only do it once

FEBRUARY

2. What did your valentine get you?A super cute pink watch - that I never wear - I'm so bad.

2. Did you wear green on St. Patty's Day? You betta believe it - I work around abunch that will pinch for sure
3. What did you do for St. Patty's Day? Movies with hubby.
4. Big March Events:We went to Flatstock. WooHoo - like best place to by freakin amazing art for the best prices ever.
Then the worst thing happened - my grandma died.

APRIL

2. Did you play an April Fool's joke on anyone this year? Told hubby I was preggo - he didn't think it was funny.

MAY

2. Do you like the spring? Yes, laying in the grass and picking shapes out of the clouds with joey is the best.

5. Big May Events:Chris turned 28 - We went to Cali to lay grandma to rest. As part of her final wishes we took J-Girl to Disneyland. Her final gift.

WooHoo! Half day

Today is a half day, and I'm so excited - I just can't hide - oh yeah! That means lunch with me hubby and then scrapin city. So many things I want to scrap. Wait why am i taking so long to post? Cause it is already 12:00 - i'll post what I get done tomorrow. Esca-LATER! hehehe.

Cookies cookies cookies

Mimz really does make the very best cookies - Mel and I are like crackheads when the cookies come out. We can't stop eating them. We love them so much we even got some for christmas. LOVE THOSE FREAKIN COOKIES. And yes I was yelling, because I need another fix. These pics are more from our gift exchange. I love thse damn cookis so much that after that cookie was in her nose I still thought - No don't break off the end and throw it away - such a waste. Yucky, and yet still so tempting. - Silly me. Thats Mimz and Mel in the first pic, and then just Mel. Love this pic of Mel. I know it isn't great - blurry and all - but I've got great plans for it.

I was just sitting here thinking about how much I want to use the stamp she gave me last night. It is so yummy. I think my next layout will have it on there some where. Last night when we were opening gifts I didn't get to really look at it, and study it. But now that I have I am in love. The only night I haven't scrapped is the night I get cool new stuff. So tonight I'm scrappin, and I'm gonna use my new stuff.

Moms gone wild

I had so much fun at our little mom trio - gift exchange with our kids. I so love Mel and Mimz. They crack me up. I can't wait till we go to Arlington for the scrapbook convention. We always have a blast. Here is a funny pic we took - I have more and I'm so going to post them. Just not tonight. Thats Mel and me.

Waiting

Ok - so waiting sucks. Like super duper sucks. I have to wait for my hubby to dump the pics of of our memory card so i can take a pic of my layout and post it. I had fun working on it last night. I used the colors from the very first shirt I posted and made a layout I am super happy with. Its simple but I like it. I will add it to this post tomorrow. And then more scrappin - WooHoo! Oh also be warned I added some links to artists I dig (will be adding more soon). I have... lets say a warped sense of beauty in art - so don't be shocked. Some of the stuff I like pushes the boundries for others a little too far. Just a heads up.

Christmas day

A very merry Christmas to all. It has been a great one this year. Strange to feel happy without my mom and grandma around. I know they are watching us and loving us, so that helps. I hope the holidays finds eveyone well and safe. J-Girl had a super Christmas. Got the easy bake oven she has been asking for like non-stop. She can't wait to get home and bake me something. I hope that stuff tastes ok. Cause I will be that one who has to eat all of it. I wasn't able to scrap my page last night, but you know its on tonight! I also have all day tomorrow to scrap. Fun, fun, fun. So lets see what I can come up with today. I know I've got some crap in here somewhere. He he he!

Don't be freaked out

Please don't be freaked out by the name of my blog. It was something my hubby said, and well its been stuck in my head. It is true though - I put my crap ( pics, paper, embelies, memories) in my scrapbooks. Right now I can't wait to get home tonight and do a self inspired layout. Most of the stuff I posted tonight really drew me in with the color. Then their designs hit me like a ton of bricks. So lets see if I have some more to include.

First Post

So normally I am on 2peas, and there are all these great people who inspire me. Now I think it is time to start inspiring my self. I love the fashion file challenge idea, but I'm not usually into the fashions that are used. So I made a decision.... I need a place to put stuff that does inspire me, gets me thinking. So this is it - {Putting the Crap in Scrapbooking} . Here you will find all my inspriational "crap". If you have decided to pop by because of the name I hope my junk inspires you in some way too. If you know of any cool sites that I might find inspiration on please leave a comment and let me know. I will try to post the pages that my "crap" has inspired. Right now I am working on my me book, even though there is a ton of pages of my daughter I should be doing. So here is my first load of crap.
